Post by Kennel Club Director on Mar 15, 2019 3:52:27 GMT Show Opens: 15th March | Show Closes: 5th April Rules On Champions: May Compete In Appropriate Class National Affiliation: n/a Breeds currently on rotation for this show: Winners Results will be posted no later than December 30th Rules ----------------------------------- Dog/Handler -All dogs entered must have a SKC registration number before the judging date. -All dogs must be at least 6 months of age at the day of entry. - Dogs are not required to wear collars or harnesses, however is permitted. - Dogs may be neutered or intact. - All SKC breeds welcome - All handlers, if they are visible in the pictures, must be dressed accordingly, therefore sporty/casual. General - Do not reserve posts. Reserved posts will be deleted. - Amount of dogs per one handler is not restricted. - Disc Dog competitions are to be held outdoors. - The lot/arena where the trial takes place needs to be visibly fenced. - Reused photos are NOT allowed. - 1 dog per image/entry Entry Fee: $50 per dog (will be deducted by admin from your bank) Breed Restrictions - All SKC breeds are acceptable. Photo Requirements One image of the dog either chasing, jumping or catching the disc. - The disc must be visible in the picture. Handler does not have to be visible. Photos must be 800 x 450 Judges Kennel Club Director co-judge; TBD Class Open - all dogs without a Disc Dog title may enter Champion - all dogs with BDD. title may enter Grand Champion - all dogs with ODD. title may enter Ring Small Breeds - 30 lbs or under Medium - 30 - 50 lbs Large Breed - 50 - 100 lbs XL Breeds - 100+ lbs Placement & Prizes QS = Qualifying Score HIT - QS + $300 BIC - QS + $200 2nd - QS + $100 3rd - QS a QS is awarded to any dog whose final score in a competition was over 70. BIC, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded per Class Ring Judging Criteria (Possible Max Score of 110 Points) Exercise: Does the picture show the requested exercises? Remove points for inaccuracies or if the picture is not clear on which exercise is shown. Focus: Does the dog look like it is focused on the task at hand? Pose: Does the pose fit the competition type and requested exercise? Remove points if it's not appropriate for the exercise Picture: Does the picture show the dog in full? Does it have a good angle? Correct Image Size? Is it well lit and focused? Remove points for inaccuracies. Arena: Is the arena appropriate for the exercise? Remove points for inaccuracies. Attire: Does the dog/handler wear appropriate attire? Remove points for inaccuracies.
